Ace Stamp & Engraving

My mom went to ACE Engraving and If I could give 0 stars, I would. My mom had engraving done on an award for an employee of the military that was leaving. First, the owner made her pay first. Second, the owner brought the award to my mothers job on a Friday and informed her that he would be unreachable for the weekend. Third, the quality was beyond poor which resulted in my mom having to find someone else last minute to make a completely new award. The font was so blurred that it was illegible, the writing was completely off-center, and the coin was not only crooked but also the adhesive could be seen on the other side of the award. I have NEVER seen such poor work and the fact that someone would stand by this work is shocking. Finally, when my mom got a hold of the owner, he informed her that the crooked coin (which was glued on) could be removed with acetone and sent a YouTube video on how to do it, even though my mom paid 90+ dollars already. He also mentioned that there wasn't anything he could do about the font being unreadable. After realizing that he would not remedy this, my mom managed to find someone to do ANOTHER award. And because of the short time frame my mom had to pay extra (over 120$) to have the work expedited. But, with how great it looks, it was worth it. Additionally, he has not reached out to try and remedy this situation to this date. I hope no one goes through the same problem that my mom experienced. Ultimately, she has paid over 200$ for two awards, one of which is completely unusable. For any reference, my mom went to TAGS Awards & Specialties and they were not only professional, but the work was BEAUTIFUL and everything was done in a timely manner. For reference, the fist two photos are from TAGS and the last two are from ACE Engraving. Updated response 6-18-2022: Regardless of how the owner views the situation the problem lies in the quality of his work. Ultimately, as a result of such poor workmanship my mom went to another business with even more time constraint, paid same price (plus extra for expedited service), better quality. Please view the pictures I have provided and make a wise decision when considering his business. Thank you.

They handle the engraving for my business and have for years now. They have the only laser engraver in the area that will do my ceramic parts. Prices are fair and they keep me taken care of.
