        Chef salad is the best. My husband had chicken fried steak with fries and a dinner salad. Buzz inn has competition.

        Had not been there for a while. Now I know why. Extremely GREASY nachos... told the waitress I could not eat them....we had to go look for napkins ourselves...we won't be back...

        We visited Hawkeye's for the first time today. It was a cold, crisp day and I wanted soup. To my delight I had the choice of chili and clam chowder which are served daily or chicken chipotle, which was the soup of the day. I sampled a bit of the chowder. It was good. The chipotle chicken was fabulous! The flavor was excellent, with plenty of kick. The serving is large and came with toast. The service was good. The prices are extremely reasonable.
