I'm going to miss this place a lot. Although it's going to come back and it's going to become this so call "KIRKLAND URBAN", this place is taking a lot of my childhood with it as it closes down. Thank you Kirkland Parkplace Cinema for being the best cinema in the world, I'm really sad to see this go, but so long.

The screens are on the small side, and the chairs don't work very well for small children

My friends and I like the funky small-town look and feel of this place and could care less if it's fancy. It's kept pretty clean and you can usually count on getting a good seat at the last minute.
The biggest problem is the way the floors slant so that you always have to crane your neck to look up at the screen. It's too uncomfortable for a long movie, but for average length it's convenient and a little cheaper than the other places. The floor plan is beyond stupid, though.
