Great ambience and a nice warm atmosphere. The food is an interesting combination of dominican influenced spices and latin flavors. The layered and fried plantain appetizer was complex and different. Oh! I forgot to add, the RANCH sauce is delicious! The best ranch we've ever had. HIGHLY recommended it won't disappoint.

I will start by saying our food tasted good. Our waiter however was rude, impatient, passive aggressive and arrogant. He was totally unwilling to provide suggestions for a gluten free diet (allergy), he acted put off when we asked him to speak with the chef for suggestions, and came back with no help at all. We will most defiantly not be returning.

Really poor service at this restaurant. The hostess seemed to be bothered that we wanted to dine at her restaurant. Pretty poor across the board. Food and drink are okay not worth the price. The hostess was an older lady and I don't know if she doesn't like younger people or what. Tried it one more time for some later drinks and the girl up front also was pretty rude. There are other spots on Kirkland that are a lot better.
