i asked to send my referral for echo stress test but they didnt. when i asked repeatedly if my insurance would be covered for echo stress test at kirkland facility they said yes we have spoken to ur insurance and it is covered . but then i received this huge bill. the endocrinologist rachel kept calling and bugging me to take appointment to know about diabetes and also mentioned that it is covered under my insurance. so i took appointment . I already knew everything she told me about diabetes during visit except that she would send me 70$ bill after paying 50$ copay. total waste of time and 120$. hospital should do something about receptionists lies and doctors luring patients to take appointments.

Not one to complain, but this is something that has to be said about the quality of the social services department. They are not quick to communicate and do not try to accommodate the request of the family members of the patient, namely our Dad, an elderly man of 86 who was getting ready for discharge to a rehab facility. They gave us two referrals and the one that we wanted did not take his insurance, but the other facility did. We had requested a different facility that would be easier to get to with all our family members. There was no acknowledgement to our request and they had already processed the request to the other facility that we did not want our Dad to go to. Which, by the way had Covid in the building and did not bother to mention to us. Needless to say, we were not comfortable admitting him there and had to go back to the hospital to the ER and find another solution. Thankful for the ER doctor who went out of his way to help our Dad. He suggested we keep him at the ER until the next day. My sister and I had to quickly do our own calls the next day to get him into the facility that we had originally requested. Communication with family members and more compassion could've made the experience easier, but that did not happen in this case. Suffice it to say, we were not happy.
