I got a color correction done today, and I could not be happier. Andrea and Perla really take the time to listen to their customers , and make sure you know what is going on with your hair the entire time. I love my new color ;)

Love this place!  Affordable and friendly service!.  Kids haircuts starting at $15, long hair kids cuts $25, men's haircuts $18, women's $40. Since it's a beauty academy, it takes a little longer than a normal haircut, but they did a great job with my kids cuts! It's located in Totem Lake, near the ice skating rink. While I was waiting, I noticed they had a sign for a $10 basic facial (usually $40) so I indulged in that while the kids got haircuts and it was the best deal ever! $10 for a 30 minute facial using Murad products! The owner mentioned they have special prices on select services during their slow days (Tuesday, Wed, Thurs between 9am-3pm). I also liked that the students and owner asked me for feedback for improvement so they can learn. I definitely recommend Majorelle if you are looking for an inexpensive kids cut and friendly service!

I'm a hijabi so that means that I don't show my hair or body to men. I requested to have a woman cut my hair and explained this to the person on Instagram that I cover for religious purposes. I brought my husband with me and he got a haircut as well as me. They asked me to come at opening and both my husband and I had female hairdressers. She gave me the option of having my hair cut in the classroom or at the farthest chair from the window. For extra privacy, I chose the classroom. It was great until a man walked by and stopped at the door and said "Good morning". My hairdresser immediately told him to leave and closed the door for extra privacy. This made me largely uncomfortable. I don't believe this was her fault, but wish that the workers were notified that there was a woman who didn't want men to see her hair so this man would announce his entrance in order for us to avoid the situation. This felt like an oversight from whoever I had DM'd. The haircut was good and for a good price, but taking off a star because ultimately, I felt very uncomfortable and was under the impression that no men would be there. I don't think I'll be going back due to the discomfort that I felt, but the wash and cut was good for its price.

I was a student at Majorelle and recently graduated.Thanks to their flexible schedule I was able to complete the program at my own pace.As a mother, juggling school, work and family wasn't easy, but thanks to the support of Andrea and Perla this was all possible!Thanks Majorelle for helping me get one step closer to my dream!

I recently finished my Esthetician License here!! I give them 5 stars because the instructor's here are very kind and passionate for this industry. They were very flexible and understanding, as I needed to work full-time and go to school, to make this possible. This is a small school with limited students. You must be able to be self motivated and willing to do alot of independent studies. They work hard to make sure you get real clients to practice on and get experience. Their clientele were always very nice, appreciative and enjoyable. You will also learn alot from other students. I really enjoyed my time here. I feel they will always continue to help and be supportive of me if needed. Thank you :)
