Michael's Professional Carpet Cleaning

We've been using Mike to clean our carpets for our Sammamish/Issaquah residence for over 10 years. We keep coming back to Mike because he does an AMAZING job!! Mike's professional carpet cleaning service and the way he cleans the carpets leaves them, well, clean! In the past when we've hired bigger name national companies, their cleaning products leave a cleaning residue in the carpets that over time, act like glue and then the dirt sticks to them overtime, making the carpets get dirty faster. It's a vicious little cycle because you find yourself hiring to clean them again more frequently. After Mike cleans them, he runs pure water through his machine to ensure there is no residue or dirt left in the carpets. And you can see in his machine all the dirty water from the area. Aside from all of this, he's genuinely a kind, nice man. I've actually had times where I've needed to leave to pick my kids up from school and yes, have left alone in my home. That's how much I trust him. Not sure I would say that about any other vendor we've used for any project for our house.

Mike is a great communicator, and kept me updated on his arrival time. He takes great pride in his work, and fully explains the difference in the Rotovac he uses, compared to traditional push wand extraction. Mike's fee was very reasonable, and the carpet looks brand new. We'll definitely use him again.

We do not recommend this company. We hired Mike, in spite of his cost being double other carpet cleaning companies ($475), because he said his machines were superior to other in the business, that he worked very hard and that his neutralizer could "destroy any odor it touches." He did work hard and the majority of the carpets were nice and clean and he did a good job on them. However, the oriental rug we discussed a lot ahead, which he said he could "neutralize" the cat urine smell on, retained a very strong odor of cat urine AFTER he finished cleaning it. We paid him and he said to wait a few days till it was dry to see if it was better. We did, but it was still very strong and offensive--we can't have it in the house. We asked him repeatedly and nicely to come back and reapply chemicals to solve the problem as we paid a premium price for his service. He said he would give us a 10% discount only and would not come back to solve this for free and that he wouldn't charge us to travel time of 40 min each way (Travel? I thought he was in our town, Issaquah?). Given we paid him $475 to clean 3 bedrooms, 1 small throw rug and 1 lg rug, I said no. I think we will have to re-clean the rug ourselves or with another company. I do not think he is any better than other carpet cleaners, although you will certainly pay a lot more!!! We wish we had hired a different company. Additionally, although I gave him our address, which is easily findable on google, he repeatedly asked me for directions even though I repeatedly said I didn't know the area and to please look it up. He was 30 minutes late although he asked if he could be and I said that no, we had arranged our work schedules and needed to keep the time we agreed to. Overall, we don't feel good about how he left our rug, and would not recommend him.

Michael is an absolute professional and expert at cleaning carpet! This is the second time we had him clean our four bedroom home in 2.5 years. I wish I had the before photos of our stairs because WOW— he nailed it!! We booked with him the same week that he cleaned for us. We found him to be passionate about his work, hardworking, friendly and helpful. His rates are reasonable too!
