We attended our first performance at Paradise Theater today and we were quite pleasantly impressed with the quality production of Barefoot in the Park. The actors were excellent and the stage had all the props necessary for a convincing backdrop of a New York apartment. Who knew we had such a theatrical gem in our own backyard? Bravo to the cast and crew for an entertaining and memorable afternoon!

First of all, I've done theatre here for over three years, I love it. They put on great shows, the jr. classes are great learning experiences and the people involved are great. Everyone else I've ever spoken too about the theatre camps and myself have had great experiences. They're currently taking a hiatus because of venue issues, but I know they'll come back stronger than ever.

Do NOT sign up your child for this organization's "Theatre Camps" - they are not interested in providing a fun, learning experience for your child. Basically, they want to take your money under the guise of a "camp" for children. If you want any meaningful communication, from inquiring about the registration process to events that occur during camp involving your child, you will not get it. One of the online "5 Star" reviews about this organization lacks all credibility, as it is self-serving from Jeff Richards, who is one of the organization's directors. My child had a horrible experience there and I pulled her out. They are refusing to give me a prorated refund even though she had only attended 2 days out of a 2 week camp. When I pulled her out of the camp, no one even bothered to talk to me or respond to calls/texts when I came to pick her up (she was in tears). They could have cared less. Stay away from all Paradise Theatre Camps - Gig Harbor and Port Orchard! Happy to elaborate in greater detail.
