We love Harbor Life Church. This church is friendly and loving. It's the real deal. Looking for a place to belong and be part of a community? This is it. The pastoral team is passionate about their calling, and are a true blessing to all. Come on in, grab a free drink and snack at the Coffee Connection, and worship with us.

I am trying to find a new church and found Harbor Life.  I came to this church the Sunday following the Supreme Court overturning Roe versus Wade (Praise God!).  This was addressed in the church but not as I would have expected anyone who believes the Bible is the inspired word of God. The pastor told his congregation he is a "peace keeper" and encouraged all to listen to both sides of the debate and that we are called to bring others to Christ and listening will help facilitate this. I do not disagree on this instruction. Where he missed is HE refused to take a side! This was a HUGE answer to prayers and God needs to be recognized and celebrated. I never thought this would happen in my lifetime and by a miracle Roe versus Wade was overturned. I do not know if this pastor supports the murder of babies or chooses life. Wishy washy pastors and churches will do more harm than good. We need Christians who are willing to listen but also not afraid to say what they believe regardless how confrontational. Use Christ as your example pastor, he was never afraid to point out wrong from right.

Sanctuary is very nice, also nice sound system equipment. The sound was too low energy for me. I could have whispered "is too loud" to my neighbor and they would have heard me. I know some people like it quiet, but if I want quiet I will go to a cemetery. The music mix had a sleeping rookie at the controls utilizing the set it and forget it method. After the worship was over I quickly departed but on my way out I caught one of the musicians. No enthusiasm was detected. I go for the worship, I can dial in any "sermon" on the internet with several thousand too choose from. But I can't get an energy full filling worship experience and it appears the musicians are starving for the same thing which is directly proportional to the energy measured by loudness which is dialed back and maintaining nothing more than luke warm. But that's just my personal preferences. If you want loud impacting praise and worship service i think the capability exists in this church, but from the sound and demeanor of the musician I talked to, I don't think anything will be changing as they are commanded "by the powers that be" to maintain luke warm.
