Serious Soul Cafe

NO Good. Bad Account. The owner doesn't like to pay her owes. I am wondering if I could go to her cafe and eat a $10 sandwich without pay it??? how come she doesn't pay what she owes almost a year ago.

Perfectly delicious. Omg was my first time there & my gosh was it amazing. I usually don't eat gravy on my mashed potatoes but decided to try it I'm glad I did because it was the best I've EVER had. The chicken was also the best I've ever had omg & the corn bread was UGH so good just no words lol. Everything was absolutely the best I've ever tried. My family all agreed was the best. I have found my new favorite place to eat. The owner was such an amazing woman I ate alone& she kept me company& told me about her coupon on internet she's offering such a great lady she is. Her place is clean, including the rest room.

I might change this review to give a star or two. But have been there twice and haven't even had food yet. First time was my fault, kinda expected to see a cafe business open on a Monday. Second time though made sure I went when it was "Open" opens at 11AM was there at 2PM only to find the door locked and note reading out on delivery. So my cousin and I walked next door to Ace hardware to get something then we went next door and visited the doggy daycare. Came back and still no one there. So we sat and waited for like 15min and still no one. If you are gonna have a business open from such and such hour then have it open and hire a delivery kid. BTW another person came and left too so that was 3 meals lost for a delivery. Not smart business.

Mmmmm food is worth the price! Mac & cheese was excellent #greens seasoned to perfection . Fried chicken & catfish was southerly delicious i love this spot!

Awful! The food was mediocre at best and the service was absolutely horrible. 4 people at our table had the same drinks. Instead of bringing a pitcher to refill, she took them all with her & messed up whose glasses were whose when she came back. She brought us hush puppies (that were undercooked & had to be returned) that we didnt order & never did bring us the cornbread & okra that we did order. That's ok, because the 1 order of okra we did receive was awful & we wouldnt have wanted any more anyway. And worst of all, it was my husband's birthday & his meal did not come until AFTER everyone else at the table was finished eating. I repeatedly asked where is his food. When it finally did come, she gave me a flippant "well here's his food" reply. Smart alec teenager. I will NEVER EVER go back there & would not recommend it to anyone.
