I have been working at Peaceful Child Montessori for 6 months now and love coming to work. The environment is peaceful and nurturing. Ms. Karen has been an amazing mentor and I enjoy working along side her. At PCM, the children come first and are nurtured to develop intellectually, physically and emotionally.

Peaceful Child Montessori has been the perfect fit for our family. Our two girls have loved their time with Mrs. Karen and staff. As a working mom, I am beyond thankful for the loving feeling I get when I drop my children off each morning. My heart is full when I hear of their amazing experiences from the day. Our family has been blessed by their time at this school. Peaceful Child Montessori truly does what is best for kids.

My son is learning about numbers and letters at his own pace. He chooses to learn. When he wants to write messages to friends, such as to thank the older neighbor for sharing his toys, he is able to clearly form his letters. He talks to me about rhyming words and sounds he hears in words. He’d developing all of the beginning parts of phonemic awareness. He enjoys talking to me about numbers. All summer he would ask to count to 100 when we got in the car. Double numbers and ways to make 5 or 7 are regular parts of our conversation. The idea of number talks didn’t originate from me.
