We like camping here because of the lodge, marina, and store but the wifi sucks bad and the shower/toilet room can get and stay pretty trashed and stay that way little to long imo.

Our expensive cabin was not stocked with toilet paper. After going to the front desk for two days. House keeping brought two rolls and said they would not supply anymore. Their propane tank was empty but maintaince was quick to supply a new one. The scenery is nice and people are friendly. I think better communication between staff, housekeeping and maintaince could improve. I would return.

We started our trip to Sunbanks with a phone call the day before to make sure what time we could check in to plan our long trip over. They said they were very strict to a 4pm check in, not a minute earlier, so we just made sure to plan our drive to get there right at check in. We arrived right at 4pm, checked in and was given our key to our villa and a dock slip for our boat. When we entered into our villa it was very dirty and obviously still not cleaned from the previous renter. At that time housekeeping walked up and said they still needed to clean and asked who gave us a key to enter. I told them the front desk did and they said we needed to wait because they still needed to clean. We waited outside because we could not go drop the boat in the water until we could unload everything. In the mean time the house keeping tried putting us in the middle of their argument about who let us in and why. We finally got unloaded around 7pm and the boat in the water at 7:30. We were supposed to have our dock slip through Thursday and they came and found us Thursday around 5pm and said we needed to take our boat out that we no longer had a boat slip. At this point they should have moved us to another slip, there were 17 other ones open to accommodate us since we could not even get in the first night till 7pm. When asked about moving us to another spot they said that is “not our problemâ€We were so frustrated that we left that night when we were not even supposed to leave until the next day. The next morning we called to talk to the manager Kim about our stay and after I told her about what happened she seemed concerned and said she was going to call back in 10 minutes to see what she could do for us. After waiting 2 hours and not hearing back I called again and asked for Kim and was put on hold and then told Kim was busy. I left another message for her to call back and still have not heard anything over a week later. We have stayed here several times before in the past and we will never be back. Not to mention the whole resort looks run down and not clean at all.
