Lovely space with a clear sense of community. I came in as a guest speaker and walked away wishing Workhorse was in my hometown. Clean space, thoughtful ammenities and workshops, great kitchen, beautiful meeting room, convenient location near several local businesses to dine or even collaborate with. Just off the ferry in Edmonds. The managers are amazing and truly root for your success, and the members I had the opportunity to talk with were very collaborative. Walked out with an open invitiation for a sample drop and a business card that led to a podcast invite.

Joining Workhorse has made a huge difference for my productivity as well as my mental health since joining about a year ago. I appreciate all of the thoughtful amenities they have around the space, plus they have the most delicious flavors of Kombucha! The staff members are always friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work!

Leave it to the "website church" folks to not know people use slightly different names on the Internet Edit: novel long passive aggressive replies get you moved to 1 star. Enjoy! As another member mentioned they love messing with your stuff when you're not around at this place. A dedicated desk is 300$ a month at this place which is already a rip off (200$ if you agree to a year) and you get to pay for the privilege of having your desk chair moved, adjusted or swapped for another while you're gone. Your personal equipment like mouse keyboard and monitor are also likely to be moved around while you're not there. Additionally they have been saying for over a year they are going to do something about the chairs in the hot desk and lunch areas and they simply haven't. It's just a talking point they like to repeat when you inevitably complain about the uncomfortable chairs and stools that they put in this place. I am personally a tech professional at a large company - this place caters more to people who have Instagram businesses and run home stealing airbnbs. They recently hosted something called "website church" and most of the info they gave there was not something a professional would recommend. So don't expect to get anything out of the workshops and lunch and learns if you don't have a small business. I'd recommend you pass on the rip off of this place and go to a real co working business.

Edit to summarize the "novel": This person has never been a member at Workhorse and did not attend the event referenced in his review. We believe the entire review is from—or on behalf of—a former employee interested in some kind of misguided retaliation. This is not a case of whether the customer is right or not. Jake was not a customer. __Hi Jake—You've brought up some important points. 1. We built a cool barrier wall around our Dedicated Desks a few months ago that protects our members' personal property while also looking really pretty. You're bringing up a grievance we haven't heard about since that wall went up (and, to be fair, we were extremely frustrated by moved personal items as well. We worked hard to figure out a solution and we're pleased with what we came up with). As for pricing, we're the lowest we've ever heard of, but pricing preferences are all relative and personal. 2. To our knowledge, we have not been promising for over a year that we're going to do something about the chairs in the Hot Desk area or kitchen. We admit they aren't the most comfortable. We did add about a dozen cushy office chairs that our members have enjoyed, along with saddle chairs, standing desks, and a new mobile desk we're calling The Tumbleweed. Workhorse is about community and, in some ways, the metal chairs encourage our members to get up and talk to each other. Again, it's all about preference, so we've worked to provide options. We've spent four years (as of March—time flies!) listening and adding options, and we have no plans to stop. 3. We haven't heard your complaints about the above points. We searched our member directory and have no record of you. We're prepared to offer a full refund for your less than ideal experience at Workhorse. 4. You're right that we emphasize supporting local small businesses. Tech professionals at large companies like yourself tend to have access to educational content and continued learning many small businesses owners don't, especially when they're just starting out. Much of our programming is geared toward that. We figure if something doesn't apply to our members, they will choose to use their time differently. To that end, Website Church is a little bit of a tongue-in-cheek nod to a workshop that is held on a Sunday to ensure small business owners' websites are working hard for them and bringing them sales. As small business owners ourselves, we know how important a hard-working website is, and not everyone who starts a small business knows how to build a website. Many small business owners are able to make Sundays work, so the member and Workhorse manager who came up with the idea for Website Church had fun with the name. It's a little tongue-in-cheek. We try not to take ourselves too seriously! It's interesting that you said "most of the info they gave there was not something a professional would recommend." We checked the attendee list and didn't see you on it, either. Did we miss you? 5. As we mentioned above, it sounds like Workhorse hasn't been a fit for you. While we can't find any record of your name in our system, we are happy to give you a full refund for your time at the space. Just message us the details of your membership, confirmation of your name, and images of paid invoices and we'll get that going ASAP. Take care!
