My brother received court documents to go to court with this collection agency. Two weeks later they took out $900 out of his personal bank account without a judgment and without communication. His attorney will be suing .

I do not understand how they feel okay giving testimonials on their website stating that they are in any way efficient at collecting debt. We have been trying to give them the full amount of the debt owed for multiple years now and they have yet to accept it or allow us to pay the debt.
This inefficiency has cost us hundreds of dollars. This has been unnecessary and pathetic on their part. Will try again tomorrow to pay, but my hopes are not high. If I were hiring a debt collection agency, I would pick a better one as this establishment benefits no one, it seems. Shouldn't that be the point of a business? Profits and furthering the human collective experience, and yet this business is exhibiting a model that fails in both accounts. There is one lady at Fairway that I have dealt with who is awesome. I feel like she really cares about my situation and is willing to help whenever she can.
I haven't had much luck with other people. When I first heard that I owed them, it was through garnishment. I called to see how I could go about stopping it and tried to explain my situation to the woman, she didn't care. She was extremely rude. She had zero customer service skills. So I got garnished $600 a month until they legally couldn't anymore. Mind you, this debt to them is not mine- it belongs to my ex husband. It is for a car that he had but since they claim they can't get ahold of him, they came after me. There is a court order signed by a judge that states that this is his debt but they do not care here at Fairway. As long as someone is paying them, it doesn't matter. Now I am backed in a corner and made to make monthly payments that I can't afford because if I do not, my wages will likely be garnished again. There is one lady at Fairway that I have dealt with who is awesome. I feel like she really cares about my situation and is willing to help whenever she can. More
