I attended my first retreat at Cloud Mountain in 1994. Having attended retreats at small and large retreat centers around the country and abroad, before and since that time, Cloud Mountain is still my all time favorite. It is a rare gem that has maintained it's integrity, high quality, rustic serenity and deep commitment to the wisdom practices taught there. It has been impervious to the spiritual commercialism and drive to "grow big" that can sometimes creep into retreat centers. The teachers are carefully chosen, the leadership warm and supportive, the facilities comfortable, the food amazing, the retreat sizes very manageable. All set in the midst of a stunning Pacific Northwest rainforest. If you have a chance to go I highly recommend!!
