Tamarack Tax

I have gone to Pete for a few years now, and until this year she has always been super quick and friendly. Since she has relocated, it’s made the process a little more difficult, and we had to fax and email all of our documents to her. My husband and I are a young working couple, striving to become educated successful individuals, and tax terminology is not necessarily our forte. My husband is an IBEW brother and due to covid, our documents were a little more complicated this year factoring in all of his short calls and some time on unemployment. We let her know that this year there were more documents then usual (which I’m sure she was expecting due to covid) and for that, she made us pay before hand, and not after she completed our taxes. Again, we are a young couple, and we had some questions for her regarding why we owed so much when we never have owed before (simple question, just trying to educate ourselves for our future) and she said that she can no longer answer anymore of my husbands questions unless he paid her an additional $100. At this point we already paid her $400 before even starting. So my husband has requested his documents back, and we will no longer give Pete our business. Very disappointed in her service!!!!
