Fantastic Santa Portraits!

We just did Santa pictures. I was was so hopeful, due to covid we don't get to use our normal "Santa place". When we arrived everything seemed to be kept clean and we didn't encounter any other families... so this is a positive. I tried emailing and calling multiples times with no response until I found the photographer on Facebook and messaged him there. During the session, the photographer asked my 3 year old to stop rocking on the horse a few times so that he could get a picture. After 3 times of him asking I finally stepped in and explained to my 3 year old she needed to stop until after the picture. At which point the photographer lifted his hand, a foot from my face, and made a motion for me to stop talking while saying "sshhhhh". I got home and went through my photos, over half of them still have the backdrop visible. I have read that this is a common problem with chapters, though I cannot verify if it would print that way, however, others have said thats the case. I spent 40$ on one 5x7, which is pricey, but well worth it for avoiding the lines....Especially this year. However, for this amount I would have liked Santa and the photographer to be a bit more personable and excited. My 3 year old loudly stated how sad she was to not be able hug him this year and all Santa said was yah. I wish that this would have been a bit more exciting for them, they have been looking forward to it for weeks. Overall, I wont be using them again. But Im still giving 2 stars for the precautions theyre taking.

They did great during the shoot. For as much as they charge for photos, you would think they would at least crop or edit the background so that you don't see their back drop stand with clips and everything behind it. So disappointed in the "edited" finished product. I will not be ordering pictures again!
