Hagen's of Blaine

I have always been happy with Hagen's. I've been a customer (from Canada) for several years - my kids have grown up with them (they loved the lollipops) as I started bringing them when they were young and even now as a pre-teen and teen. I always smile when they recognize me and say my name before I do - yes, I've been a customer for some time LOL I don't recall a negative experience, but I didn't have any items during the pandemic. I also ensure that I have their notification before visiting and regularly check their hours so I have enough time to fit in a visit with a lot of time to spare. In other words, I do what is necessary to avoid disappointment. I will continue to come here and am grateful for their business.

I've been a loyal customer for years and I've been very happy with their service. I was sad when they're overnight lockers burned down but I'm glad that they have returned to that service in a limited capacity. I still recommend this company to my friends.

I used to appreciate their service and used them many times, but you have to beware that shipping charges can add up very quickly. I bought 17 items worth a total of $700 over two months (since I only wanted to take one trip), and I knew there would be some shipping charges, but I was totally pissed off when I arrived to discover $449 in shipping charges. Some of the items were tiny envelopes with a small bolt in them and they cost me $2.49, with $30 in shipping charges. Now I've discovered "Ship Happens" in Sumas, and they only charge $3, with no holding fees, so that same order would have been only about $75 in shipping charges (due to a couple of over-sized items). And I wouldn't have had to wait for 2 hours at the truck crossing to Blaine since Sumas usually doesn't have long lines. So the extra 25 minute drive to Sumas is worth it. Like another reviewer commented Hagen's is greedy with their shipping charges.
