Whatcom Day Academy

My 2 grandsons go to this school and absolutely love it. I wish I had been able to attend such a school when I was a child. It is a supportive community where each child is encouraged to learn, think, solve problems, and develop character - all at their own pace. Even at 10 and 7 years of age, my grandsons have already developed some great critical thinking skills that will last a lifetime.

This little school is among the best. Working part-time there for half the year was an eye-opener for how a school community can pull together to provide children with a first-rate education they can enjoy. Truly amazing families are at the core of Whatcom Day Academy's warmth and welcome. Besides getting friendly, skilled instruction, students are encouraged to explore their best learning tool - their own thinking! The STEAM curriculum objectives are part of that picture, but the students are the stars here.
