I saw all the good reviews and wondered why. I took the chance and booked. And its great! For a motel, this is probably the best youll ever see. Lets call it a cross between a best western and a generic motel. Not quite best western level but getting close. Very clean, comfy bed, with a decent breakfast. Id stay again.

This is a great little motel with a fantastic price. No frills, but very clean, quiet, and friendly staff that obviously takes pride. Perfect location for accessing both downtown Bellingham with all restaurants/shops and WWU. Offers small continental style breakfast and with non-dairy milk available, which is a big plus in my book. Rooms: Clean, comfortable, no frills, has fridge, no microwave but one in hallway and lobby for use. Nearby activities: Good eats all along road and downtown with all the restaurants, etc. is about a mile, easy walking or driving. About mile/easy access to WWU as well. Walkability: Sidewalks and crosswalks if you want to walk into the business part or any of the places along Sammish. Noteworthy details: The reasonable price might make you think this place is substandard but it was great! So much cleaner and cared for than places I've stayed for twice the amount, especially the big chains. The owners obviously take care and pride in it. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a base for your Bellingham explorations!
