We usually always stop by here on our way to Canada. Their bagels with honey butter is sooo good. Today however, after ordering thru the drive thru- it took them 20+mins on our order! To make it worse, they got the order all wrong. Arrrrg! Now I'm sitting in my car for the past 15mins waiting for them to correct my order. How hard is it to toast up 3 bagels and put some honey butter on it!?! Getting really irritated.

I used to go to The Grace Cafe all the time. They had an awesome lunch and great sandwiches. I had heard they changed hands but want to support local businesses. I was on that side of town and decided to stop in. There was no one in the restaurant which didn't really mean much to me. I ordered 2 half sandwiches to go and some cookies. When I got back to work we opened the sandwiches which were tiny, covered in mayo (and I know tuna salad is made with mayo), full of cheap veggies and on stale - hard stale bread. I threw the sandwich away. Gross.

Whenever an occasion arises so special as to warrant the purchase of a pie, don't fool around; call Grace Cafe. Their pies are more expensive than some others, certainly, but once you've had a piece the price seems entirely reasonable, if not irrelevant. We just had a Key Lime pie for a birthday, and it was absolute magic. Homemade from top to bottom, topped with these incredibly thin lime wedges, fresh as the morning dew. The graham cracker crust was preposterously, absurdly thick and tasty; the whipped cream stiff and peaked; the filling so fresh and subtle that I was transported, actually removed, to a beach in the tropics somewhere with every bite. Thank you to the talented ladies of Grace Cafe, who continue to bake the most excellent pies in the universe day in and day out.
