Haven't had my haircut professionally in 15 years or so. Was on a business trip in Bellingham and decided it was time as my hair was nappy. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but it came out perfect! Couldn't be happier with my haircut!!!

Great cut, great price. The stylist here know what they're doing and are willing to suggest new styles, which I appreciate. Jamie, one of the younger stylists, cut my hair and made it look great! The only reason for a second star, rather than just one, would be because there is ONE hair dresser working here that knows not only what she's doing but also how to act appropriately. Unfortunately the rest of the folks working here are rude and have either no care for clients or no skills. I suppose you get what you pay for. The person I usually see ( Stacy, the older of two ) wasn't there yesterday, but I really needed a trim / change. My experience went like this: Walking in with my friend we were approached ( not greeted, no "welcome how may I help you" but more of a "what do you want today" ) by a young woman. I began telling her I usually see Stacy but it looked like she wasn't there; as I began saying I didn't mind allowing someone elst to do a simple cut she interupted and said " Yeah...she's not here". A little off put I went on with the wash where an attempt at nice small talk preceded the cut. I figured she was trying and maybe this wouldn't be so bad, however I was mistaken. As the cut began and she asked what I wanted, I told her I'm pretty easy going and wasn't sure. I gave her a few guidlines and told her to just go for it. Make it look nice. This annoyed her (or seemed to). In addition to the annoyed attitude, she seemed more worried about her co worker / friend's hair than mine. In fact, all of the employees were complaining about the customers the entire time; in front of my friend and myself. My cut was continually interrupted by a girl called Paris (whom is incredibly rude and just plain mean ) about her own hair. Finally the cut was finished. It didn't turn out as awsome as I had liked, and an answer to a question I asked turned into an insult, saying my current trained part was a callic and MIGHT be able ot be trained away... I digress... I went to pay and Paris charged me out. Let me restate...she was rude. No smiles, made me feel like she didn't want me there. As if I were an inconvenience. Took my money without so much as a thank you, and walked away literally glaring! I will miss Stacy...but I cannot stand her co workers. Customer service here is awful! I will go to Gene Juarez from now on. I suggest you find another place too.
