Currently staying in the motel and I am so grateful we arrived ahead of schedule because there is nobobody at the front desk. It says they are open until 10 but I have been checking back since 7 and the door has been locked. The WiFi doesn't connect. It hasn't worked properly since we arrived. It is very frustrating given we are trying to plan our drive tomorrow and haven't been able to use WiFi, only data (costly when using foreign roaming phones). The phone in the room doesn't work at all. It is very disappointing.

Excellent value here! For under $70/night (this included all taxes/booking fees) I stayed in a clean, spacious room with vaulted ceilings, fresh paint, a large desk w/file cabinet, living area w/couch + chair next to the king-size bed, bedside lamps w/USB ports, built-in reading lamps on headboard, full-length mirror, good heating, hot water, blowdryer, decent fridge, microwave, flatscreen, ironing board, no funky smells...the room was wonderful! I just needed a place to sleep, shower and regroup between days of camping/backpacking so it met most of my needs. Things worth noting: This is very close to the railroad, which ran at least at 11pm and 12am while I was here. It didn't bother me but light sleepers may want earplugs. They don't have laundry facilities anymore (as advertised) which was a huge bummer. It's carpeted except for entryway and bathroom. No one actually mans the front desk--you usually have to call a # on the sign posted there for someone to come out. If you need something, you might have to ask for it more than once but they always answer the phone and will eventually take care of you. Customer service interaction skills could use some work but they seem like kind people (a man and a pregnant woman) and I'm sure this will improve with time. For $70/night out the door at this location, I would still return. Great value!
