Winchester Public Defender Office

This office is being reported to the state for their absolute negligence, inability, and lack of basic legal skills of any kind. They tried to force me to plead guilty to a crime that never occurred that is a private complaint with video. The complainant was fired from his job for his actions towards me and magistrate shopped for a month before getting one to file based on his video. The charge reads, "it looks like she might have tried to grab his phone" for a full assault and battery charge and this firm cannot defend an immediate dismissal case. They withdrew representation of me today because in a year, they have done nothing for me. Run quickly to avoid being railroaded by them.

This 5 star rating is fot Ms. Lael Pearce. She went above and beyond what I expected her to. I dealt with several legal issues throughout my life due to a drug addiction. After getting myself clean for 2 years Ms. pearce was appointed to represent me and she was a better lawyer and got me a better outcome then any paid lawyet I have ever had.thank your lucky stars if she is appointed to you

Even though this was not the right place to get the information, the receptionist went above and beyond to direct me to the right phone number. Excellent service!

This is disappointing and disgusting. The employees that answer the phone should be ashamed of themselves. They could care less about anyone or anything. If you just do this for a paycheck you should find another job you are passionate about. This pertains to real people. Real lives are affected. I am an honest man with 3 kids trying to seek help and they treat me as if I’m already guilty and the scum of the earth. I can’t believe how they talk to you. If you have money stay away from these people they are crooked and corrupt just like any other form of our government
