The staff was so welcoming. They allowed myself and my daughter in law to take a shower several times while my son was so critical. It was such a comforting act of kindness.

My father passed about 2 1/2 years ago at Winchester Medical. The hospital case worker had made arrangements for myself, and my mother to stay here during my father's time in the hospital. Traveling all the way from Texas frantic, and with no real game plan it was God sent to be able to have this place provide comfort in our time of need. The staff was more than courteous, and during such delicate times you need that. Carrie (my apologies if I spelled your name wrong) who volunteered at night not sure if she is still there this would have been 6/2017, but when I say the night my father passed she was truly my angel. Carrie if your reading this THANK YOU I have, and never will forget you. So much was going on so many emotions were flooding my soul, but that woman prayed, and hugged me so hard till I broke down. Not to mention the next morning as I was preparing to leave there were a group of sisters in the lobby who were going through the same emotions, grief, and pain. I stopped to talk with them explaining my father's condition, and fact that he passed GOD showed up in the lobby that morning because we cried! we prayed! we hugged each other as if we had known each other for years!! What a blessing it was. So I say that to say this THANK YOU HURST HOUSE. Not only are you hospitality, but you are a slice of heaven for those who are in need in there time of need. God Bless you all for what you do to assist each and every family that rest there heads, and souls in your establishment.
