Worst Chinese buffet ever. The food was very bland and some of the desserts were flat out stale. Service at a buffet doesn't take much, but we had to find our server to get drink refills EVERY time. I'm not a local, but the overall reviews looked okay and the kids wanted Chinese. If I'm ever in the area again, which is likely since CW is awesome, we won't eat here. My first clue that the food might not be up to par was the lack of asian customers or staff. I've never been to a Chinese restaraunt and seen so few asians. We doubled the number when my family came in.

This Place is Closed!!!! SO sorry, Mike tried so hard to accommodate all his customers, unfortunately he didn't make it. Must be the business or staffs, anyhow he was a hard working man. I give him credit to open and run the business these 2 or more something years.

Before Wasabi, my family and I were loyal customers of Peking. We have all known Mike, Wasabi's kind and generous proprietor, for nearly 10 years now. He has literally seen me grow up. All the negative reviews are so obviously an attempt to defame local competition from a sore loser nearby whose quality of service took a nosedive when Mike left as floor manager. Wasabi has a spacious, less touristy feel to it than Peking and a welcome atmosphere as Mike, when available, makes it a point to say hello to EVERYONE. The food is always hot and the white rice is kept in an actual rice cooker out on the counter which gives a homey feel to it. The sushi selection is much more diverse and they are willing to make whatever you want at your request. The Mongolian at first wasn't as good as Peking but it got better fast. this place is the best kept non-secret of Williamsburg. Even after moving to Richmond, I still drive down to Wasabi often. It's just that good
