Backfin, The

This restaurant is no longer the Backfin. It is now The Cove with a different owner. It can be noisy inside due to the hardwood floors but the food is good. If the weather is nice the porch is fun also.

“I parked in front of the restaurant with my wife and family. Approached the hostess and before I could speak, she asked the older Caucasian couple BEHIND ME if they would like a table. She seated them. She came back and asked if I would like a table. My family and I were seated and completely ignored for 20 minutes. There were no other minorities in the restaurant. Three waiters looked and walked passed us multiple times. After we got up and left without any acknowledgement my 11 and 9 year old asked me why they don't serve black people... Other than that, the place looked great. If you are a minority, this is not the place to go. Sorry for those who are offended, but I am offended that my young ones had to experience this. It is 2012 isn't it?”
