Lovely grounds but the hotel itself is severely neglected. So this was a family trip and our primary motivation was finding an indoor pool for the kids. This is how we ended up here. The problem is that the pool itself was closed for two days for "maintenance". No information given from front desk as to timeframe it would reopen except "maybe tomorrow..... Maybe the next day" when it finally opened pool towels were scarce if any. Promises from the front desk to deliver more never happened. The pool floor was stained green from mold growth near edges. The bathroom in the lobby was out of soap for several days despite repeatedly informing the front desk. Part of the carpet was torn in the hallway and a major hazard for tripping. As mentioned by others the hallway carpet was old, worn and dirty but I really didn't care about that because I wasn't sleeping in the hallway. I did care about the several bus loads of teenagers placed around us on our floor that were noisy. You can hear everything in the next rooms and hallway. The hotel staff tried to keep them out of the normal breakfast room since they had their own group breakfast room. Unfortunately they felt that the regular guest breakfast was better than theirs and all 250 of them were trying to defend like locusts. On a good note the rooms and beds were comfortable and ours was clean. There was a balcony which was nice. The staff in the breakfast room were very helpful. We never noticed any bugs like others claimed, although we did hear some of the girls screaming about bedbugs. In fairness I don't know if those girls would know what a bedbug looks like.

Absolutely not what is advertised. All balconies had bolts screwed into them making them non- accessable. Room phone doesn't work at all. Carpet in rooms bubbled up and filthy. Pool and hot tub closed until further notice. Couldn't get a maintenance person there at 6pm until 11 to fix anything. Don't waste your money or time. Plenty of other hotels at the same price point that actually are as advertised. Only positive note is the front desk clerk totally understood and was very polite and courteous even though she could do nothing about it but tell me I wouldn't be charged and we found much better accommodations.
