Fife and Drum Inn

This was a wonderful stay, we really enjoyed our time. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the dining area was well stocked. We loved having beverages, especially hot ones, always on the ready to take out and enjoy on the sweet rooftop patio. Bill and his staff were so kind and helpful and the location was great-right by several dining options and a few blocks from Colonial Williamsburg. Safety: I was traveling with my 2 daughters and we appreciated the safety of the Inn. The main door required a key card to enter and each room had hotel locks with key cards. All of Williamsburg felt very safe but we liked the added security.

What an absolute gem located in the heart of historic Williamsburg! We had a wonderful time and cant wait for our next visit. Nearby activities: Beautiful time of the year to enjoy all Williamsburg has to offer. The spring flowers were beautiful! Walkability: Perfectly located to all of our favorite shops and restaurants. Food & drinks: Enjoyed the convenience of a continental breakfast. Noteworthy details: Quaint decorating touches that made our stay memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the Fife & Drum Inn. It was beautifully welcoming and spotlessly clean. The historical building and decor made it the perfect spot for us to enjoy our first stay in Williamsburg. Sharon provided a supremely helpful overview that allowed us to get the most of our time touring Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown. Breakfast and snacks were healthy and convenient. All staff were kind and courteous. With gratitude, we highly recommend Fife & Drum Inn!

My husband and I (38, 32 respectively) live 3.5 hours away, and we come to Williamsburg 2-3 times a year. Neither of us went to William & Mary, but we love the Colonial area, the restaurants, Busch Gardens, and the local golf courses. After about 8 years of coming to the area and passing by the Fife and Drum, we finally made a reservation and stayed for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience! Im big on safety, and the after-hours keys were great for entering the building and knowing we were secure. The breakfast snacks were great to tie us over to our next event. The staff were so kind and attentive. Youll enjoy it. Its a quiet weekend getaway.
