Recommend purchasing/returning products elsewhere. Store has limited items in stock, lengthy shipping times, poor customer service, and prices are higher than any local or online hardware store. For a right angle bit ordered on 30 Nov as a warranty replacement, item price was $32.85 at the center vs. $14.99 Ace, $22.26 Amazon, or $24.98 Lowe's. Although a common item at any local hardware store, DeWalt service center did not have in stock, so promised 3-day shipping. On 6 Dec, after not receiving the bit, called in and was told the bit was delivered and in my mailbox. It was not. After not being delivered on 7 Dec, I called and asked for the tracking number. The UPS tracking website has the package scheduled for delivery on 10 Dec. It has not be delayed or re-routed. I called the center back to make a complaint as I am waiting on this part to finish a job. The center provided me incorrect shipping information both in person on 30 Nov when I returned the old broken bit and over the phone on 6 Dec. The center tried to justify that 3-day shipping was fulfilled – it was delivered to a local USPS processing center within 3 business days (on 5 Dec). I don’t know anyone who counts as delivery to a mail processing center as fulfilling the delivery. The center rep told me I was lucky I didn’t have “7-10 day” shipping. I am still confused by this statement as we seem to count days differently. I’m guessing this means the item would be delivered in 15-20 days.
