Great China Restaurant

Changed from 5 to 1 .. Use to be my go to for Chinese and now I will never eat here again. The fried rice wasn't cooked all the way. The Sesame chicken went from the usual nice white meat cuts and now it is old chewy unrecognizable mystery meat. At least I got my $20 worth filling up on the white rice and fortune cookie because it was the only thing that was edible. It's a shame this place sucks now. Oh and the new Chinese lady on the phone doesn't speak English well and I had to spell out Baltic Ave for 10 minutes. $20 in the trash can. I bet the seagulls won't even eat it.

i like new ownwer, they're nice and frendly.food is so food,can't understand why old cutomer say bad,just because is diffrent person cooking？

Great China was one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. Now there is a new restaurant in its place. The food is awful....taste like they throw soy sauce over everything. I suggest trying other Chinese restaurants nearby. Don't waste your money on this place like I did!

GREAT CHINA HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH GOLDEN CITY, AND GOLDEN CITY IS HORRIBLE. I WISH THE PEOPLE ON THE PHONE WOULD HAVE SAID THAT IT WAS A NEW BUSINESS. The shrimp fried rice has no shrimp in it or egg. It is just white rice with soy sauce. All the food we ordered was disgusting, especially the soup. Great China was a hidden gem within Virginia Beach. I am so sad that they are gone.
