My wife and I had a great experience working with our real estate agent Linda Brooks and the Long & Foster Kempsville Virginia Beach office. We were moving cross-country from California to Virginia Beach, VA and Linda was wonderful to work with making our home buying process simple and easy to understand while treating us like “one of her family”. Linda was very responsive to all of my “many calls and emails” throughout our home search and her insight and expert recommendations on areas within our budget was not only valuable but priceless. We have a beautiful new home and couldn’t have done it without Linda’s expertise. I thank her again so much for her time, knowledge and patience.

1 star BUYERS BEWARE The agent told pest control to just cover up rat droppings and carcasses. Hidden termite damage not disclosed unlicensed contractor "fixed" things The unlicensed contractor replaced electrical outlet plates with putty type material cutouts performed electrical work not licensed to do Plumbing not licensed to do put holes in our wall installing the new water heater, then did a crummy job at best to patch it. So many other things, too many to list.

Excellent experience, really thoughtful and caring agent, Kim White. We actually ended up being a more challenging sale (complicated circumstances) and Kim went the extra distance in every way, had an eagle eye on paperwork and twice saved us money, etc. She had really helpful ideas for a couple solutions in the house we bought, made us feel comfortable in a new area - - I could keep going on. The perfect combination of top-notch professional and friendly-supportive. Kim's a gem.

My cousin and I used their service to purchase a townhome. To say they are unresponsive is an understatement. They did not return any of our calls about issues with the property we were in contract for. Adela and Candie did not call us back for 5 days. Adela was ending our calls and refused to call us back. Very unprofessional! They were not looking out for our interests at all! All they wanted was to complete the sale even if it was to our detriment. Use another real estate firm if I were you.

I moved in home 1/2020. Home was not cleaned. Notes from property managers in lease stated so. Moved out of home 1/24/2021. Carpet was cleaned and home cleaned on 1/19/2021 with receipt provided. Property manager choose not to honor receipt and charge me for it to be redone. Home has had termites, pest (roaches, lizard, rats) in home. Pipes knock during day and night due to termites eating wood insides walls. Maintenance informed me that landlord would not take care of problem due to price. New filter 12/2020 was put in was informed it was not and charged for that. Informed property manager I lost my job in Jan 2020 but was able to pay rent until lease end. I was able to pay for a cleaning service and she is saying it was not done and the house is dirty. The pictures this lady used to explain dirty is trivial. Elizabeth took pictures of the corner inside of the washing machine and dryer. She took pictures of a cleaned microwave with smudges from the wipes and said it was clearly dirty over the phone. As we spoke over the phone she had no empathy nor concern in her voice. How can someone treat people this way and steal their money during a pandemic. Do not rent from these people they are definitely a scam!
