KEMPSVILLE PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE CENTER INC

This place has been my primary doctor for years and I think its time to really look for a new one. The most recent visits and/or phone calls haven't been the greatest. The times posted for the office is from 9am-4pm during the weekdays and 9am-1pm on Sundays. Over the years Ive noticed you have to show up before even the staff gets there because they get busy quick (even if its a Wednesday at 11am) The most recent visit was about a month ago and I got there about 10:45am and I was told to come back in about two and half hours and they were suppose to call my phone when I'll be up next. Thankfully I got there when I was suppose to be back and because they never called my phone. They literally just assume I was waiting for someone else. At a certain point they stop checking in patients and telling them to come back the next day or make time to come back when its "less busy" or when its convenient for the office. This past week only I had to call the office many times to ask them to refill my prescription for my insulin to the closest Walgreen near me. Many times I call my Walgreens or checked my app nothing was sent to them. I feel like Kempville Primary has failed me as a patient and they left me frustrated and upset on how they handle people in general lately.

We have been going to Kempsville Primary Medical Care for decades. We have been pleased with the quality of care we have received over all of these years. We were lucky to discover them when we first moved into Kempsville. It is my opinion that anyone dissatisfied with the level of healthcare they received from Kempsville Primary Medical Care just has unreasonable expectations. It is best to call ahead, as Doctors need vacations too.
