We first heard about Devon Shanor Photography from my friend who said Devon was offering a free newborn session. We jumped on the opportunity because we saw her work and thought - free - WHY NOT! Devon was professional, kind, and super thoughtful from the very beginning. We exchanged a few emails to get the session set up and were so impressed by her studio. She has so many props, backdrops, scenes, and even incorporates your ideas and sentimental items! And the real secret is - while your baby is getting their photos taken with Devon (who is so gentle and has the room super warm and cuddly for your little one), you and your spouse can hang out in the office/waiting room on the comfy sofa, eat snacks and drink yummy drinks, watch netflix, and CHILL (or take a nap)! After the shoot, Devon showed us a few snapshots and we fell in love! We came back the following week to take a look at the rest of the photos and purchased an album and a few mini albums for our parents. Honestly, we fell in love with all the pictures that we wanted them all! There were so many good ones to choose from. What made this experience so memorable and great was how easy Devon was to work with and how personable she was. Being a new and first time mom, I was a little nervous to let my 2-3 week year old son be in the hands of a stranger to take some photos, but Devon made us feel so at ease and we could go into the photoshoot room at any time we wanted. She also has such a great personality! And on top of all that, she's a super talented photographer who takes the most adorable photos of your loved ones. 10/10 would recommend!
