El Taco Loco Mexican Restaurant

I went here recently with my coworker. The host/server was not welcoming. She didn't greet us, she told us to seat ourselves. Then she came with menus. I asked for water. She brought them out. I asked to see their drink menu. She brought them back, didn't say anything to us, and sat the menus at end of the table.. farthest away from us. We decided to leave. Clearly, she did not want to serve us. Then she had the nerves to ask us are we leaving. I didn't have a chance to try their food or drinks. Therefore, I do not recommend this place.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. They have the best food. They also have awesome drinks. If you get the jumbo size, you either need somebody else to drive or you need to take it home. They don't skimp on anything. They're also remodeling the inside and it looks great!

Great food and service. Table side guacamole is a must when you come here. **Update** Took the while they are in-laws in town. They were amazed of the quality of Mexican food for the East Coast. Service was fantastic, Food was amazing and of course service is spot on.

El Taco Loco used to be a fantastic restaurantunfortunately, the last two times Ive been there it has been pretty bad. Both times, my family went early in the evening so the restaurant was not busy at all, but it took forever to get our food. Additionally, the food came out at different times. The first time it was an order of Chile Rellenos that took almost 15 minutes longer than any of the other food to come out of the kitchen. This time it was my sons chicken quesadilla kids meal. To make matters worse, the chicken quesadilla didnt have any cheese in it, but was filled with what resembled chicken pot pie filling; it was so soupy that the tortilla fell apart. We pointed out the error and they brought out a cheese quesadilla which looked like a block of American cheese halfway melted between a tortilla. I ordered Antonios tacos which were bad! The steak was cooked way past well done and was rubbery; there was absolutely no flavor to the steak at all. My wife ordered the crab cake chimichangas and said it was saltier than sea water; she could only eat half of it. My family used to love this place because their menu is different than your average Mexican restaurantunfortunately, we wont be returning.

We were dining there tonight with the BEST server Ashley and some random guy came in claiming to be her manager and following her and other servers around the restaurant causing issues until he YELLED at Ashley to get her stuff and leave IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DINNER RUSH IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. I come here often and have NEVER seen this man before. This was so ridiculous and unprofessional and I would never support a business that treats their best employees like this. DONT EAT HERE! ADD ON: Please see comment below from the restaurant - She is an ex employee because she was told to leave in the middle of the shift exactly like I posted? Of course I wanted to leave a review after witnessing this. Not sure if they can actually delete this or not, but I can be sure to have the other guests that were dining with me write the same review since I wasnt the only one there.
