I had my car flooded from a recent storm and I have geico insurance. My first adjusters name was Paul. Paul was kind of rude and condescending but I let that slide. He also would not help me find a location to bring my vehicle to for my flooded car. He told me to google places and that it wasn’t his job to send me a list of service centers who could help me. So I had to call over 10 different service centers before I found one that even does flood claims. NEVER in my life have I had to do my own research for a service center to bring my car to. Every other insurance company has always sent me an approved insurance list of service centers they recommend. Seems like Paul didn’t want to do his job. He wrote me an estimate for only an interior carpet cleaning or replacement even tho my car was flooded up to the dash board. He also wrote it was fresh water instead of saltwater in my car. Ever since then I haven’t been able to get ahold of Paul. I called and texted, and finally a few days later I got a notification that he went on paternity leave. Then I got in touch with Mohammad. Mohammad took my information of my vehicle, told me an adjuster would be out to checkered flag Honda in 1-2 days to confirm car damages and get a supplement going. Never heard anything back from Mohammad. I got passed off to Kia next and she has never once called me back, answered none of my texts, nothing. This seems extremely unacceptable, and I am now on hold for the past 35 minutes just to reach Geico. I know you guys are busy but if this is how you treat people who need a claim taken care of I need my policy cancelled as soon as this claim as up. I’ve never had such difficulties getting ahold of adjusters in my life and I used to work for insurance companies. I’ve been nice up until this point. I’m getting really frustrated that you guys are making it seem like you don’t want to help me with my flood. I pay almost 170$ a month for full coverage to be treated like this.
