Scammer or Dishonest Person, you decide. My vote is a scammer of seniors. Please beware. Writing on behalf of my mother-in-law in her words: Located the company via the Yellow Pages, serving the Hampton Roads area. I have an oven over 40 years old in my home needing repair. After being infected with COVID-19 as a senior citizen this summer and spending 20 days in ICU, I was happy to survive the virus and excited about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I decided to get my oven repaired. I searched the Yellow Pages and found the Appliance Doctor, Eric Vautrin, owner. Eric also is also operates under Supreme Appliance Service. I setup an appointment and the owner Eric Vautrin came for the service call. He inspected the oven and said it would be over $600 for the parts and labor and he needed half the money in advance. I wrote him a check for $325. He gave me a receipt under the name Appliance Doctor and he took parts from the oven, cashed the check and I never saw him again. After numerous attempts to reach him by phone (by the way he never answers his phone and his voicemail is always full); he finally called me back and he scheduled a time to return and complete the repair. He never showed up. After multiple missed appointments, he said he would return my money and parts but I have not heard from him since. Seniors and everyone else beware of this company. I wish I could give Eric 0 Stars. I totally got ripped off went 2 months with no freezer or ice maker. Charged $238 and never fixed a dam thing. Couldnt get him to come back and finish the job he has more excuses than you could imagine. Very poor customer service and over charges. He should be ashamed of himself
