Wu's Garden Restaurant

We went here last Sunday based on some of the really good reviews I read on other sites. With all do respect to everyone that said this is an amazing chinese place, how the hell is this any good??! The hot and sour was watery, the pecking duck was rubbery and the skin was far from crispy and their specialty Wu's noodles was the definition of grease! Please don't even try to try it.

I knew as soon as I parked, walked in, and looked at the decor that this place was stuck in about 1982. The food proved it. My wife and I had hot and sour soup (bland), spring rolls (soaked in grease, bland), Szechwan chicken (mediocre, chicken over-fried), and dan dan noodles (with a sauce reminiscent of the Salisbury steak from my junior high cafeteria). Extremely expensive, too. The clientele was mostly older white folks, which is a dead giveaway in an ethnically diverse region like Northern Virginia.
