Gina was an absolute gem to work with. A true professional who listens to her client, and brings optimism and a problem-solving approach to her work. Her team is fantastic - they completed our project on time and on budget and did high quality work. She took all of the pain out of a major renovation project. This was our first major renovation and we could not have been more impressed with how smoothly the process went. Our kitchen and master bath needed a complete gut. After vetting a few designers/contractors, we chose Gina and her company, Monarch Designs and Remodeling, for a variety of reasons. For starters, it is a female-owned business. Secondly, Gina was very transparent in all of our meetings. We never felt we were being upsold as she was extremely considerate of our budget. She listened to our ideas and made them come to life. A quality that we certainly appreciated was the fact that she didn’t always say yes to our ideas (in the politest of ways, of course). After all, we are not the pros! As a designer who also has her contracting license, she understands what adds value to a home and what doesn’t and her feedback and expertise were always welcomed. Her design talent is very apparent in the final product. Down to the smallest of details such as the direction in which a cabinet door opens, Gina was on top of it! She was constantly at the job site, kept the communication flowing with us, and had the site professionally cleaned before the big reveal. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Gina and her team.

After seeing the high quality work Gina Simpson completed in my brother-in-law’s master bathroom and kitchen, we hired Gina of Monarch Design and Remodeling to renovate our kitchen. She worked with us in the design of the new kitchen; we had specific ideas going into the project, so she was respectful of our preferences and successfully incorporated our ideas into the design. She was regularly onsite overseeing the work, ordered the materials, and provided her design expertise. She was also very flexible when we decided to complete work in the adjoining rooms. One of the strongest services Gina offers is the reliable and trustworthy team who work side-by-side with her. Individuals who entered our house were hard-working, dependable, respectful, and most importantly, timely with their work. The process and end product exceeded our expectations. My brother-in-law hired her for two different projects, and we will too if we decide to renovate another part of the house.

I recently hired Gina Simpson of Monarch Design and Remodeling to work with me to remodel my kitchen and dining room. Gina is great to work with. Her knowledge of design options and her recommendations for the project were spot on. She worked with me and my preferences but definitely brought her sense of style and came up with solutions that worked out wonderfully. From cabinets to pulls to backsplash to paint color for the walls, everything came together perfectly. And all the items she ordered came in on time and budget. I would highly recommend Gina and her team for any project you might have in mind.
