Fetch! Pet Care

Jay, Karen H., and the Fetch team have done a fantastic job walking our puppy. They've been incredibly flexible and responsive, readily handling schedule changes as we figured out what the best routine for our pup would be. Karen, our dog walker, has been particularly great in dealing with a rambunctious, teething puppy and in providing daily updates as to how the visits went. We really appreciate the consistent, friendly presence she's provided for our dog.

USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY: there are many in the NOVA area. Very disappointed and insulted by the attitude and poor customer relations of the new franchise owner! We are on work travel frequently. We've used Fetch! for well over a year and were very happy with both of the sitters: Deborah Gootch, and Kathryn, who have never voiced any problems to me. So imagine my shock to receive an email from Jay, the new owner, refusing to schedule our animals in September stating "circumstances at your home are not suitable for one of our employees to provide services... please do not contact our employees". When I replied to his email and then phoned to ask what the problem was that suddenly makes our home "unsuitable" so I might address it, his emailed reply was " We are not in a position to provide that information". Nothing has changed in our household in the many months that we used Fetch! under the previous owner -- when our home was apparently "suitable". Our pets are elderly, treasured, receive first-rate vet care, and we were avoiding boarding to save stress on them. Offensive and very poor management: obviously, he knows what his problem is but is unwilling to explain it. He must have all the business he thinks he needs! Go elsewhere!
