Ziberty Custom Homes

My brother and I own an undeveloped lot of land in Fairfax, VA. Ziberty is building a home on the lot next to our lot. When installing a water well, Ziberty incorrectly installed it on our property. Now that we are trying to sell our property, the owner of Ziberty (Guy Barth) is refusing to sign a request for variance unless we pay him for the well he incorrectly installed on our property. Yes, they want us to pay for their incompetence. If they aren't competent enough to install a well on the correct property, they may not be competent enough to build a custom home.

Ziberty did a major renovation of our home in Great Falls. Most importantly, we are happy with the quality and price. We know that many times contractor experiences don’t end well, and we chose Ziberty because we felt the most comfortable with them during our selection process. Now that the project is complete, we can confirm that they are honest and communicate effectively. It was refreshing that they consistently communicated and we always knew what to expect. We could tell that that they genuinely care about us and the home. Overall it was great experience, the costs were fair, and the quality was good. We highly recommend them to anyone we can!

Ziberty built our modern Prairie style home in Northern Virginia. We love the modern touches and how Ziberty puts in higher level finishes that make a big difference. Between multiple built-ins, smart door locks, laundry connections on all floors, back-up generator ready, plug-in vehicle ready in garage, etc., they made our decision easy. Next, we appreciate how responsive they are. We feel that they genuinely care about us and the home. Overall it has been a refreshingly good experience.

Ziberty helped us evaluate land for a future custom home. Most importantly they were really knowledgeable and able to help guide us in the study of the lots. We really appreciated how much they cared about helping make sure we were getting the lot that was going to work well for us. They also helped guide us in the offer process, specifically on what items to include when purchasing land for development. Ziberty was highly recommended to us, and we are now highly recommending them to anyone that is interested in building a custom home and/or developing land.

I worked with Ziberty to make some repairs/renovations to my house and it was a great experience! Throughout construction they were always professional, friendly and trustworthy. It was clear to my wife and I that they cared about the quality of work by the effort they put in and willingness to explain anything we asked about. We were nervous about our renovations after a previous bad experience, but Ziberty took care of any concerns we had and did an incredible job. My wife and I are very detail oriented and we can speak to the quality of their work without hesitation. They fixed flooding issues, replaced exterior trim, and painted. Ziberty was committed to our project from start to finish, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs renovation work. I would love to own a Ziberty built house for my next home!
