This complex is a bit of a mixed bag-- good, but not great. It's located right off 50 and close to Loudoun County Parkway (and you're close to a bunch of stores, including Walmart), but the traffic can be a nightmare depending on the time of day. The complex itself is quiet and in a very safe area, but it's not very neighborly. It's an odd mix of ages-- families with young children all the way to countless people of retirement age & older, who are nice but overly nosy (and keep track of everyone's comings and goings, perhaps as a hobby?) The maintenance staff is by far the best part of this place and they're really responsive. Last, but not least, the apartments themselves are good, spacious and we never experienced noise issues like some other residents/reviewers have mentioned.

Terrible staff, and awful management handling. Will tow anyones car based no questions asked. Absolutely Pompus and unnecessary. I lived here for 15 months and will highly recommend avoiding this place at all cost. Recently moved back to the townhouses next to the Elms and was immediately towed. I didnt need to write a review before and was going to let things be, but this has been my final straw. The elms consistently has wronged me and after speaking to the staff, I feel worse off than not.
