    Arosa in prior authorization is horribly rude. She was shuffling papers and stapling while on the phone with me, stopped for a second when I said I couldnt hear, then continued the remainder of the call. She told me she wont do a prior auth for a med because I should get the previous one, but theres literally a national shortage. Ive called 11 pharmacies and there is no estimated arrival date, but she insists its out there. Then, proceeds to tell me Dr. Oshry wont write for the new med, but I already HAVE a script from him & have had it filled, just need her help to DO the auth. Seems she doesnt want to be bothered. Girl, its your job. Horrible attitude and phone etiquette. Please work elsewhere instead of being rude to patients.

    I have been going here for a couple years now and they have taken wonderful care of me. Every experience I have with the practice leaves me with a smile on my face. Right from the start their records department tackled the challenge of extracting my decades-old medical records from the labyrinthian confines of the US Gov without any issue. During checkups, Dr Oshry pays great attention to detail and uses just the right amount of humor to keep things light. The nurses have been incredibly patient and kind whenever I was nervous and go out of their way to make me feel at ease. Finally, the lab on the first floor is simply top notch - managing to keep everything moving at a decent pace without feeling rushed at all.

    I've been going here for years and am starting to get EXTREMELY frustrated with their service. I've been in the phone queue for over 45 minutes, just to find out what time their laboratory opens. Also, about a year ago I called to have someone put in a prescription for a new CPAP mask but was told by the nurse on the phone that I would have to get a new sleep study. Really? Just for a dang CPAP mask? I ordered one off of Amazon.

    Its an ordeal to get someone on the phone. They seem chronically understaffed and overworked. It is annoying to be the 12th caller in the queue. In the digital age it should be possible to send a simple question by email and get a quick answer. But at VMA that requires a VIP membership. I get to see my PCP only for the annual physical which is nothing more than a superficial routine exercise. NPs cover everything else. Seems like excellent compassionate care depends on the membership level.
