I live 1.5 hours from Planned Pethood and have been to 5 other shelters looking for a match for my blue heeler. This is the best, most helpful shelter I visited. Even though they are short handed, the young lady took her time with me and was knowledgeable about each dog I looked at. If you don't live near there, it's worth the trip to see for yourself.

These are incredibly hard working and caring people who do a lot for animals. They need supplies, donations and/or volunteers - itâ€™s a great cause!
