Rocky Mount Smokehouse

They have a great atmosphere and the servers are nice but the service is very slow. The portions were larger, unfortunately the food was extremely over cooked and dried out (ribs and pulled pork) the fries were cold, which I contribute to the slow service.

Service was a bit slow and likely needed more help. Tables are very close together almost like eating with someone you didn't know. Food was mediocre. Had pulled pork that came with sauce already in it, meat was mushy and little taste. I prefer pork where I can add sauce to my liking and more seasoned.

Delicious BBQ with friendly service and clean restrooms. We had ribs, baked beans and a BBQ bowl (Mac n cheese, pulled pork, cole slaw topped with hush puppies). Everything was tasty and the portions were large. We ended up taking home ha all of each of the entrees.

The service bringing our food was slow. BBQ was dry. When they brought the check it was a fee on their for party of 8 or more. There were only two of us. We told them the check was wrong. The said they corrected it. But yet when they swiped our credit card they add the fee back on. We questioned it and they said oh it shouldn't be on there. We were in there an additional 30 minutes trying to get our money put back on the card. All they kept saying was we have a new system, employees tried to call owner/manager but they didn't answer. Finally they just gave us the difference (cash) out of the register even though they did not want to. I ask them what are they trying to do steal money from customers because that what it seems like. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR A PARTY OF 8 OR MORE AND IT'S NOT BUT A FEW? IT WAS ALMOST AN $9.00 FEE WE WERE CHARGED, THAT ADDS UP!! THEY ARE STEALING FROM PEOPLE!!
