We love Dr. Morris. Two of my children have seen him and they both opened up easily to him. His recommendations for our family have been practical and helpful.

I agree with the other person that gave him a bad review. I have two boys, ages eight and five, and my oldest has autism. During the first appointment, we were there for my youngest to get some help, but he seemed more interested in my oldest having autism than helping my youngest son with his behavior. During my last appointment(which I only had two) my sons were being normal for them, he recommended a psychiatrist and told me that the fighting and the youngest having a tantrum wasn't normal. Dr obvious, I guess he didn't realize that was why I was there. He seemed more interested in pushing for meds to cure what he thought was more related to A.D.D. that he saw in them. The second appointment was cut early by HIM, and we still have to pay full price. I wasted money on two visits to this Doctor. I hope I can save your money and time by choosing someone else to help your "not normal" kids. Telling a mom that her kids aren't behaving normal, when they are in the midst of their children doing pretty typical things for them, is the worse bed side manor I could think of. I drove home crying and calling their pediatrician for a new recommendation. Maybe if you have really inverted quiet children he might be the doctor for you, but I still think you can do better. As an update, my children are doing better with some change of diet and routine.

Morris runs about 45 minutes beyond scheduled appointment time (common practice for according to receptionist), doesn't return phone calls in a professionally acceptable manner, and shares confidential and delicate information in an unethical way. This guy comes backed by what appear to be serious credentials and is quick to refer other professionals (unsolicited I might add, like a weak infomercial in the middle of our session)/ I will be filing a complaint about Mr. Morris with the state licensing board and the APA.
