The pictures were taken at my child preschool, as they were his first school pictures. The photographers were absolutely great! My son utilized both backgrounds that were offered during picture time and the pictures came out nice. They took about 16 pictures of him. However, the pictures were extremely extremely overpriced. He normally takes pictures at JCP portraits, and I was shocked by the prices. I contacted the business to ensure I was understanding correctly what I was looking at, spoke with the office manager who was not very much help. She just wanted me to know that the pictures were not free and that they had to pay the photographers, like that was something I was unaware of. She was terrible, that conversation was cut brief, because I could not deal with that. Furthermore, the packages that were offered were priced from $41-$69 dollars. The most expensive package offered 3 8x10's, 1 sheet of 2 5x7 pictures, 1 sheet of 8 wallets, and 1 other sheet of another size with 4 pictures of a pose. The packages sucked really bad. So I decided to not get any printed and to get the digital copyrights to the pictures. I still could not get them all. I paid $220 DOLLARS for 12 digital images. So I could do 4 digital images for $100 dollars, and every pictures thereafter up until 12 was $15 each. Once I reach the maximum of 12, it was $35 for each digital image after 12. This was the most ridiculous pricing for simple school pictures that I have ever seen in my entire life and especially for digital images. I struggled with whether to purchase or not because of the prices, which is sad for a parent who would like pictures from her child's first year of school.

We have used Southern Smiles as our school photographer for many years. They are very professional and easy to work with. The photographers are always very helpful and take wonderful pictures of even the most difficult subjects!
