This office is professional & the doctors and staff are amazing and they are truly making a difference in everyones lives as well as helping to bring healthy and much needed change to the community by treating the mental health of the residents of Richmond & the surrounding areas! I refer everyone & anyone o know or meet who is struggling with these issues to this place- and will continue to go refer others because this place and the awesome people who bring it to life are changing lives for the better!!!!!

Im so sad Dr. M left. She was kind, non-judge mental and a very good listener. She will be missed. There was a serious mishap with the new nurse practitioner they replaced her with (Wigfall), but I hear she is leaving (probably because she was a horrible listener). Im not sure if Ill stay with this clinic at this point, the office is ok but Im concerned about who the next prescribing psychiatrist will be.

I loved Dr. Maghakian, and she helped me so much. I cannot find where she relocated to and no reason was given. She is one of the best practitioners I have ever had, and I miss her terribly. She was my doctor for several years and is a knowledgeable, caring person. Her leaving was abrupt and she was replaced by a nurse practitioner whom I have spoken to once. I will make it work, but the whole thing was not handled delicately. Developing a relationship with a mental health care practitioner takes time, trust, and a level of confidence that the relationship will remain intact. This makes me very sad.

Absolutely the WORST PLACE EVER! Horrible people skills! There is no consistency here! Psychologists come and go. So if youre comfortable with talking to new people about the same thing multiple times then this is the place for you! This place does what they want. They dont call back when promised and the appointment times are always wrong. The psychiatrist here are the worst! Dr Wigfall was very rude and unprofessional. Ive been waiting for a whole year for an appointment and when I finally received a call that was NOT the time of the actual appointment I was told to call back and reschedule, not to mention hung up on. How rude!!! I am livid!!!!!!!! Stay FAR AWAY!!!!!

My son saw a therapist there for quite some time. I was unhappy with how the meetings went. Most of the time I was absent from the meetings unless "I" requested to be included. The initial meetings I was present. My son said all they did was "talk about aliens" and he (the therapist) would talk about how when he was a kid he would "walk the train tracks all day and not be home." Mind you, my son was only 11 and I don't agree with this thinking, especially during a pandemic. I'm not going to let him just run around. He also used meditation but I didn't see much improvement. On several occasions I would text the therapist and get no response. He was good at sending reminders of upcoming appointments. The therapist didn't correct his vulgar language and he would hardly communicate with me concerning his progress. In fact the therapist questioned my parenting skills in front of my son and said "I need to pick my arguments." Since not returning my son has excelled in school and we have a close relationship. I'm not saying there was no improvement with therapy, but for someone who is unemployed driving weekly to see him didn't help much. There needs to be more parental involvement and communication.
