So my husband and I paid cash for a 2018 Pacifica on Jan 17, and to say the least, what we thought was going to be an easy hassle free transaction was everything BUT that!!! We Had it transported to the Kentwood location. We drove 2 hours in sleet and snow and when we got home, we were so excited to finally have a newer car that can fit our family of 6! Over the next few days, there was a grinding sound, Coming from the front of the vehicle. Make a long story short, we experienced ALOT of problems and back and forth with CarMax!!!! Although every associate we spoke with (Issac, Brian, Cameron) were absolutely amazing and nice! They made the situation slightly less frustrating. Kudos to them for their exceptional customer service! However, the overall experience is the reason we will more than likely not get another vehicle from CarMax!

My husband and I have purchased around 20 plus vehicles from CarMax. Most of our experiences have been pretty good. However, every time that we visit the Orlando store, theres something that happens that is completely unacceptable. This evening, around 6:40pm, my husband and I put in a pre approval application for a specific Tesla that was at the Orlando store. We got our answer back within about half an hour. We received an email that we could get the Tesla and my husband put in an appointment for 8:30pm this evening to get it. We drove over an hour out of our way to come to the store only for Roberto (manager), to tell us we did not have an appointment and there was no one to help us at all. We would have to come back tomorrow, even tho we drove over an hour away. Furthermore, we asked to make sure the Tesla we just put an app in for, and spoke to the call center about, was on hold for us. Low and behold, it was on hold for someone else. How can I be approved on an application for that car and it be on hold for someone else? Roberto was very rude and didnt even try to see if someone could help us. We asked if he could help us and he said no, he needed to watch the door. We will never step foot in Orlando, again. This is a terrible way to do business and treating customers like you should. Sanford (Sheldon and Avalon) and Clermont (Dave) employees have Orlando beat in every aspect of the experience.
