Exceptional customer service. Exceptional chocolates.  These treats are great gifts.   The first time I received a box of chocolates, I was blown away. So, I've been gifting these treats ever since.

I ordered chocolates online to use a gift card I received! The main store is in Charlottesville but I was able to order online, contact them to ask if I could pick up my order at the RVA store...and the owner himself got back to me! They had no problem making that change foe me and o liked the customer service I received. I just picked up my order and the store is clean, and the staff person was welcoming. The decor is minimal and chic. The chocolates are to die for!!! Lol

Eat your heart out at Gearharts! This elegant confectionery is simple and sweet! When you want to indulge in some of the finest chocolates in town, make your way to this locally owned RVA specialty shop.  The place is sparse, and the selection isn't huge, but what they do stock is amazing.  I purchased some regular chocolate bars, the bejeweled candy bars and several unique flavors from the case.  My fav was the Earl Grey chocolate which was handsomely decorated and tasted divine! When we checked in on Yelp, we also got a free sample! Exquisite! These chocolates aren't your run of the mill supermarket brands, so expect to pay for the high quality of these delicious candies.  I've given and received the boxed chocolates as gifts and they make quite an impression. You may chose boxes that are pre-selected, or create your own box!  Caramels, toffees, nuts, creams, fruits, ganaches... the choices will suit any chocolate lover! Luxurious gourmet delights await you in this store with plenty of heart!
